It's always an entertaining day of NFL action when Tony Romo is smiling.

The season is coming to a close. The trade deadline is nearing. Most fantasy teams are locked in. Some of us, however, play weekly fantasy football and this game profiled a pair of quarterbacks on opposite trajectories that should help those players make decisions. Noone played better in week eight than Eli Manning.
Giants-Dolphins
Eli Manning’s performance was as close to perfection as can find in an imperfect world. He threw for 349 yards and two scores, but without a number of drops on perfectly thrown balls, his numbers would have been much better. Mario Manningham dropped an easy touchdown and a few passes ricocheted off Hakeem Nicks’s hands, allowing Miami to keep it close on the scoreboard. Manning has four solid scoring opportunities coming up in his next five games so all of his receivers, who should and have played better, have value. (more…)
