Playoff Challenge Strategy: The Two-Team Gambit

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012

Gambling on a surprise Super Bowl team? How about Andre Johnson and the Texans.

There are two basic kinds of playoff fantasy football competitions. In one kind, you can select different players each week. This article will not touch on that type of contest. The other kind, which will be dealt with here, is where you pick a team at the beginning and go with it, even if your players have been eliminated. Mondays Minings

Monday, January 2nd, 2012

2012 Fantasy Football Preview – Part VI: Wide Receivers

Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

Of course Calvin Johnson is number one for 2012.

While some of us are already picking out our teams for playoff fantasy football games, there is no better time than now than to start thinking about next year. The 2012 fantasy football rankings began last week, with a look at running backs, and continued to discuss quarterbacks. Now we’ll look at receivers, a position that seems much deeper than last year, yet there are a lot fewer guys you can trust. Everyone is inconsistent so I want a couple good ones that I can play each week. I want two top wideouts in 2012, and I’m willing to spend valuable auction dollars to get them. (more…)
