Chris Johnson showed signs of life against Carolina.
It took ten weeks, but Chris Johnson finally put up a performance that his fantasy owners could be happy with. Well, those who are still starting him anyways. CJ2K carried the ball 27 times for 130 yards and a score. That’s 5 ypc without breaking one. But in Deeper Minings, we must look closer. (more…)

Phil Rivers threw four scores, but his struggle with ball control cost San Diego.

Since parting ways, the two have had what were in their terms, off-years. This Sunday they clashed when Fitzgerald brought the Cardinals to Boldin’s new home in Baltimore. (more…)

DeMarco Murray is here to redeem Big D.
The Cowboys appear to have found their running back. DeMarco Murray rushed 25 times on Sunday, picking up a grand total of 253 yards. That total is inflated somewhat by his first carry, a 91-yard touchdown but even if you take that away, he still rushed for over six yards per carry. Murray slid through holes like hot butter and them Cowboys know how to open up holes. Murray isn’t going to do this again, (how many times will he play the Rams?) but half of his production this Sunday would be enough to satisfy fantasy owners as well as the Cowboys coaching staff.
